1976 - Company founded. Three key managers (Peter Hartman, Stuart Kirk and Jim O'Donnell) left Tarmac Plc to form R j Dance (cont.) Ltd. Over the course of the next decade, R j Dance (cont.) Ltd grew taking on larger and larger highway contracts. |

1980's - The company gathered momentum taking on civil engineering projects such as the construction of the Epsom one-way system and the traffic free walkways of Lewisham High Street. |

1990's - The expansion plans were realised and R j Dance (cont.) Ltd started to service contracts ranging over Surrey, East & West Sussex and beyond. Our Head Office, strategically located between the M25 and A217, was purchased. |

2000's - R j Dance (cont.) Ltd starts to offer additional services such as design & consultancy. And increases the scope of our highway maintenance contracts to include, road signing, traffic management and road lining. |

Beyond - RjD will grow using home grown talent and continue to offer quality services to existing and new customers. It is hoped that RjD will enter into new partnership agreements under the government's own proviso. |
