Rosehill speed tables completed.

One of the Rosehill speed tables with a blockwork finish.

This series of junction improvements, forming part of the Minor Highways Contract, involved installing raised junctions and footways in the Wrythe Lane area of Sutton. A Hot Rolled Asphalt (HRA) base course was finished with a block-work surface and associated works included new kerbing, drainage, gullies, signing and road-marking.

Completed bus stand improvements to Jubilee Way, Chessington.

R J Dance was the main contractor on this reconstruction & resurfacing project for The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. This project involved: working closely with utility companies to ensure minimum disruption to traffic; provision of new gullies, ducting and channels; reconstruction of the road substructure; provision of a traffic island, a humped pedestrian crossing and a new bus-stop with footways. And finally resurfacing, signing and road-marking.

New cycleway completed along Brighton's seafront.

Madeira Drive, Brighton seafront: the new cycleway.

Staff at RjD (Southern) have helped complete the installation of a cycleway stretching for over a mile along Brighton's seafront towards the Marina. This is an extension of the five mile cycleway completed in 2006 by RjD, stretching from Brighton to Hove.

Charity fundraising - employee crosses the finish at Lake Geneva

An RjD employee recently took part in a 1000 kilometer cycle from London to Geneva to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. In total he helped raise over £5000 for this worthy cause.
