Paving

The experience and diversity of the company helps provide a professional and comprehensive local service, helping our clients in construction detailing and the selection and identification of quality materials. Our directly employed workforce can take a project from design right through to completion.
In partnership with a number of local authorities, R j Dance (cont.) Ltd has completed many high profile pedestrian schemes, involving a variety of paving types and patterns, together with street furniture and, on occasion, water features and fountains such as the Market Place in Kingston upon Thames.
All our management, staff and operatives are fully trained to put in place very careful pedestrian and traffic management systems to protect the general public while work is in progress.
Whatever their size and complexity, we are uniquely placed to plan, manage and successfully carry out a variety of possible schemes, from the replacement of a few paving slabs to a multi-million pound town centre redevelopment.
A case study: Market Place, Kingston
R j Dance (cont.) Ltd undertook a £multi-million four month construction of a water fountain in a central square in Kingston upon Thames. R J Dance were the main contractor on this project which involved the provision of a water fountain, underground pumping system and ancillary block-work and street furnishings.
The completed project was opened by the Mayor of Kingston along with associated press, photographers and the many local residents who turned out to see the great 'turn-on'.
