Operating our own fleet of transport and heavy goods vehicles allows us to ‘close the loop’ on recycling by delivering excavated material from site
to our various recycling centres, processing that material and then delivering it back to site as quality recycled alternatives to conventional construction materials.
A case study: Trafalgar Road resurfacing (highway maintenance)
Lasting six months from plannning to delivery, R J Dance was the main contractor on this £multi-million reconstruction & resurfacing project for Brighton & Hove City Council.
This project involved: working closely with utility companies to ensure minimum disprution of the essential services to the residents of Hove; provision of new gullies, ducting and channels; reconstruction of the road substructure; provision of traffic lights and a mini-roundabout; and finally resurfacing and road-marking.
